Excellent advice, Tong. Reading is the best way to be exposed to more words.

The best way to remember is write down into the notebook and put a understand meaning. Teacher might give some sentences about the vocabulary to make students more understand. I am a neophyte.

Good idea to write things down, and seeing the words in sentences is very important. You need to have a context to understand a word. But to use the word yourself really sticks it in your memory.
